COVID-19 update from St James Rail
As of 25th June
Dear SJR Travellers,
SJR trusts that all our travellers are well and healthy as the COVID-19 virus continues to cause our normal life and plans to change.
It has been positive to see some gradual easing of restrictions, although uncertainty remains as to when some of our tours will again be possible.
We have rescheduled our planned domestic and international tours through to the end of September 30, 2020, and have made contact with all those who have booked with us to advise of the new dates.
We have some new, short tours with limited numbers, that we hope might appeal if you are ready to venture out and it is prudent for you to do so. Luncheon with a small group of eighteen people, and some three night excursions by rail to regional NSW.
The tours we operate will be observing the social distancing and health guidelines of the NSW Health authorities, and the transport, café / restaurants and hotels we use will be similarly doing so.
We wish to stay in touch with our regular travellers during this time, and you can see occasional updates on our Facebook page, as well as through the occasional emails we send.
We look forward to you joining one of our tours as we emerge from the current challenges and resume our exploration of our country and world.
All the best from us both
Takako Ishige and Owen Johnstone-Donnet
